The younger players of the Al Taawn team had a nice, friendly, competition during Ramadhan – as most teams do in Oman – and for the final two teams a medal ceremony.

Plenty of passion -as after all football is a very important part of life in Oman.

I joined the shopping for Medals and we found some very nice ones with a glass insert into the metal – and of course the ribbon in Oman's colours.

And, to make it a memorable occasion – gold and silver cups.

So - a nice day was had I'm told - and it will be done again next year.
