Al Bandar in the Oman Shangri-la resort  was the venue for the Oman Equestrian Federation presentation and I was delighted to sit down and enjoy the evening. Oman has a thriving interest in Equestrian affairs and I enjoy the chance to spectate as some often remarkably elegant horses, both Arab and Thoroughbred, race and are sometimes simply shown off.

The Minister of Sports made presentations and later we enjoyed a splendid Dinner in the main function room. Al Bandar itself was hosting 3 other events and I nearly was purloined into the IATA function next door

Both my car and I enjoyed our latest visit to the Toyota service facility. Open for only a few days it gives the impression of being a state of the art production line. About a 100meters in length and a couple of floors in height it is most impressive. The vehicles can move through the facility if needed for more complex repairs or for simple period servicing a bewildering array of tubes and equipment become attached to the car and as if by magic the operation is finished.
