It was good to welcome ACE Study Tours into Oman again. The group toured through northern Oman and visited  the UNESCO necropolis near Bat. Flying into Salalah they paid a visit to the wonderful museum within one of that regions UNESCO sites. Fortunately there was bright clear weather so that all could enjoy picnics outside.

Earlier during the Eid falling during the Haj period I enjoyed the atmosphere of one of the local souqs in the country – here some girls are dressed in traditional dress visiting friends on the occasion.

Its always good to stumble across one of Omans animal inhabitants – here a Chameleon makes its tortuous way along a branch of a bush in Salalah – a good match in colour .
