Driving past Sur I was delighted to see a couple of Osprey, one of which had a freshly caught fish. Though some over-summer in Oman the majority of these birds migrate into Oman for the winter months.

The purpose of my trip was to have a quick look in Ras al Jinz, the Oman UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the soon to be opened ‘small hotel' there - we have clients staying soon after it opens and I wanted to be able to provide an overview. Finished in two tone white and brown, the combination made popular at The Chedi , the hotel sits overlooking the turtle nesting beach.
